Raghad Bushnaq

Raghad is a Syrian American who was born and raised in Syria, moved to Washington DC at the age of 19 and raised a family of five children. Beside being a mother of five she is a grandmother of three and a teacher who has studied with some of the best teachers in Syria.  Her teaching experience is very diverse as she has also taught English as a second language.

Education

In addition to her credentials in teaching, Raghad has also studied Agricultural Engineering and Islamic Law.

Acomplishments

Raghad has been a local Activist in the Muslim Community within the DC Metro area since 1989. With her efforts she was able to start a non profit organization, Mozaic, that empowers women, children, and refugees. Mozaic has helped hundreds refugee families within the DMV Area since 2016
